Is it finally Oregon’s time?
LAS VEGAS, NV (The Spread) – Florida State and Alabama remain the clear favorites to win this season’s college football title but is there a team that offers bettors better odds?

Oddsmakers currently list the Crimson Tide and Seminoles as co-favorites to win the 2015 college football FBS Championship at 11/2 odds. But watch out for the Oregon Ducks, as the ‘Quack Attack will be in full-effect this season. As it currently sits, Oregon is 7/1 to win next year’s national title.
Oregon has a double revenge vs. Stanford at home this season as the home crowd at Autzen Stadium will be rocking. I do see them possibly losing at UCLA, but they will more than likely play the Bruins again in the PAC 12 Championship on a neutral site, which will be the new Levi’s Stadium in San Francisco.
The ‘Bulls-Eye’ will be on Alabama and Florida State this season without a doubt. It is possible that FSU loses two games this season as they play @ Miami on 11/15 and the Hurricanes have this game circled. FSU ends the season with a home game versus Florida, but with Will Muschamp’s job on the line, it would not surprise me if the Gators shocked the nation and won this game knocking FSU out of the 4 team playoff.
As for Alabama, the Tide is going to be another tough team under Nick Saban, but the team’s first true road game of the season is against Ole Miss and the Rebels will be able to score points. Believe it or not, I will put Alabama on ‘upset’ alert that weekend.
They also have to play at LSU and we all know that stats don’t matter when these two teams play. LSU had control of the game in the first half last year before a bonehead fumble on the goal line cost the Tigers dearly. I still have Alabama playing in the college football championship, but it will be Oregon’s time to win the title. At 7/1, they are well worth a wager in my opinion.
