The Hurricanes and Seminoles will meet for the second time this season tonight at 6:35PM ET after Miami beat FSU 72-59 at home on January 9. In that game, Beasley and Bacon combined for just 23 points on 9-of-28 shooting.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Seminoles are now 1.5-point home favorites over the Hurricanes after the game opened as a pick’em. The total, meanwhile, hasn’t moved after it opened at 148.5 points.
Despite holding FSU’s talented freshman duo in check in the first meeting, Beasley and Bacon still form the highest-scoring freshman tandem in the country with a combined average of 33.2 points. The Seminoles should be plenty motivated tonight after Syracuse ruined their four-game winning streak on Thursday, not to mention this is a revenge spot for FSU with Miami winning in January.
The Seminoles are 7-3-1 against the spread in their last 11 games following a failed cover while the Hurricanes are just 1-4 at the betting window in thier last five road games. Take Florida State -1.5 and check out more from Lock Labs. You can also purchase picks here.
