D-Backs having success vs. Vogelsong
PHOENIX, AZ (Spread Winners) – Due to Jake Peavy’s struggles this spring, Ryan Vogelsong will start tonight for the Giants against a team that he’s struggled to beat in previous meetings.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Giants are -110 money line favorites over the Diamondbacks, who are +102 money line underdogs after losing last night to San Francisco in their home opener. The total for tonight’s game sits at 8.5 runs.
The Giants are 7-1 in their last eight games versus the Diamondbacks but they’re just 2-5 in Vogelsong’s last seven starts versus Arizona. The Giants are also 1-4 in Vogelsong’s last five road starts against their division rivals.
