Braves have value as home dog tonight
After sweeping the Nationals in D.C. the Mets will travel to Atlanta tonight to take on the struggling Braves at 7:10PM ET.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book GT Bets, the Mets are -152 money line favorites over the Braves, who have odds of +142 to pull off the upset. With Bartolo Colon set to face Shelby Miller in the pitching matchup, the total is sitting at 7.5 runs.
The Mets are flying high after sweeping the Nationals in D.C. but they’re also primed for a letdown as they take on a Braves team that is just 2-8 over their last 10 games. That said, both of those wins have come in the last three days and they’ll have their ace on the mound tonight. New York is just 1-4 in its last five games versus the Braves and 1-5 in its last six games in Atlanta.
