Speaking of Cole, the Bucs are 7-1 in Cole’s last eight starts versus the Cubs and 4-1 in his last five road starts versus Chicago. The Pirates are also 10-1 in Cole’s last 11 starts on Friday and 13-3 in his last 16 starts when their opponent scores two runs or less in its previous game. The Cubs, meanwhile, are just 1-4 in Lester’s last five home starts versus a team with a winning record.
