Will under hit in Rockets vs. Clippers?
LOS ANGELES, CA (Totals Authority) – The Rockets and Suns lit up the scoreboard on Tuesday but will tonight’s game involving Houston and the Clippers be relatively low-scoring?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Clippers are 3.5-point home favorites versus the Rockets while the over/under total is currently sitting at 213 points after opening at 211.
Despite the line movement favoring the over, we like the under to cash in tonight’s game. The under is 8-2 in the last 10 meetings between these two teams when the game is played in L.A. and is also 5-2 in the last seven meetings overall.
The under is also 6-0-1 in the Clippers’ last seven games played on Wednesday, 4-1 in their last five games coming off a win, and 10-4-2 in their last 16 home games. One night after the Rockets racked up 127 points in a 127-118 win in Phoenix, look for Houston’s offense to be relatively quiet tonight.
