Will Ravens cover vs. Steelers?

PITTSBURGH, PA (The Spread) – The Ravens are listed as three point underdogs as they head to Pittsburgh to battle the Steelers on Saturday 8:15PM ET in the AFC wild card game.  Will the Ravens cover?

View Jay Dotson’s Expert Picks

The Steelers are a tough home team and may win the game outright, but I look for the Ravens to keep it close and cover in this one.  Despite going 2-1 straight up, the Ravens finished the season on an 0-3 ATS slide.  The Ravens have struggled versus AFC North opponents on the road with a 1-6 SU & ATS record.

The Ravens will be motivated to turn that record around.  The NFL playoffs start a clean slate and now that teams are in what they did in the regular season doesn’t hold a whole lot of value.

Le’Veon Bell left the game last week versus the Bengals with a leg injury and won’t be a 100 percent. The Steelers are 6-1 ATS in their last seven home games versus divisional opponents, but as we know the playoffs bring a different intensity.

These teams have a history of keeping it close as five meetings before this season were decided by a field goal or less. Take the points on Saturday.
