Trends favor Eagles over Skins
WASHINGTON, D.C. (Spread Winners) – NFC East rivals clash today when the Redskins host the Eagles at 4:30PM ET in a matchup that favors the road team.
The favorite is 6-2 against the spread in the last eight meetings between these two teams while the road team is 11-4-1 against the number in the last 16 meetings. The Eagles are also 4-1 against the spread in their last five road games versus Washington and 7-3 against the number in their last 10 games on Saturday.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Eagles are 7.5-point road favorites over the Redskins while the over/under total is currently sitting at 50 points. Philadelphia was once a 9.5-point favorite earlier in the week but the line has been bet down the closer we get to kickoff.
The Redskins are just 1-4 against the spread in their last five games versus NFC opponents and 1-5 ATS in their last six games overall. They’re also 0-5 against the spread in their last five home games and 1-8 ATS in their last nine games following a straight up loss.
