49ers vs. Bills Pick
Will the 49ers cover as a road underdog this Sunday when they travel to Buffalo to take on the suddenly surging Bills at 1:00PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Bills are 7.5-point home favorites versus the 49ers while the over/under currently sits at 44 points. Neither the side nor the total have moved off the original number posted by oddsmakers.
The 49ers enter play following four-straight losses and four-straight non-covers. In their latest defeat, they were blown out in a sloppy performance on Thursday night football last week, falling 33-21 to the Cardinals as a 3.5-point home underdog. Following the game, coach Chip Kelly said he and his coaching staff would consider all options at quarterback, which led to the team benching Blaine Gabbert for Colin Kapernick.
The Bills are headed in the opposite direction as their opponent on Sunday, winning three-straight games to get to 3-2 on the year. They also covered the spread in all three of those contests, with their latest victory coming in a 30-19 win over the Rams as a 2.5-point road favorite last Sunday in Los Angeles.

OUR PICK: These two teams are headed in opposite directions but the point spread still seems high in this one. Kapernick will be out to prove that he can still be a viable starting quarterback and at least with him under center, he should be able to make more plays than Gabbert did over the first month-plus of the season. This is also a perfect letdown spot for a Bills team that has expended a lot of energy in getting back on track over the last three weeks. The 49ers are 21-8 against the spread in their last 29 games after accumulating more than 150 yards rushing in their previous game and should keep things tight on Sunday.
