Giants vs. Rams Pick
Will the Giants cover as a small favorite this Sunday when they take on the Rams at 9:30AM ET from London?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Giants are a 2.5-point favorite versus the Rams while the over/under currently sits at 43.5 points. New York opened as a 2.5-point favorite so that number hasn’t changed, but the total has dropped from 44.5 down to 43.5 at most sports books.
The Giants are coming off a 27-23 come-from-behind victory over the Ravens as a 3.5-point home favorite. Eli Manning completed 32-of-46 pass attempts for 403 yards with three touchdowns and two picks, while Odell Beckham Jr. went off for 222 yards receiving and two touchdowns on eight catches. The win runs New York’s record to 3-3 on the year and the successful cover puts them at 2-3-1 against the spread.
The Rams have now lost back-to-back games following their 31-28 loss to the Lions last week as a 2.5-point road underdog. Case Keenum had a great game, completing 27-of-32 pass attempts for 321 yards with three touchdowns and one interception, while Kenny Britt caught seven passes fro 136 yards and two scores. The loss drops Los Angeles’ record to 3-3 straight up and 3-3 against the spread.

OUR PREDICTION: The Giants are a perfect 7-0 against the spread in their last seven games versus the Rams, who are just 2-5-1 against the number in their last eight games coming off a loss. Chances are Keenum isn’t going to be able to duplicate what he did a week ago in Detroit and if the Rams can’t figure out how to get Todd Gurley going then it’s going to be a long season. The shine is starting to wear off this Rams team following back-to-back losses, while the Giants might be ready to turn things around after their win last week against the Ravens. Lay the points.
