Can the Flyers end the Bolts’ streak?
No team is hotter right now in the NHL than the Tampa Bay Lightning but with their starting goalie resting, will the Philadelphia Flyers pull off the upset?
Oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv currently list the Flyers as +100 money line underdogs while the Lightning have odds of -120 to win their 10th game in a row. As for the total, the number currently sits at 5 goals.
Tampa Bay has been incredible during its last 10 games but tonight the team will rest starting goaltender Ben Bishop. That gives Philadelphia an opportunity to pull off the upset after going 6-3-1 over its last 10 games. The Flyers are currently on the outside looking in at a wild card spot in the Eastern Conference and are desperate for a victory.

The home team has won eight of the last 10 meetings between these two teams while the Flyers have won four of their last five home games. They’re also 5-0 in their last five games playing on no rest and 4-1 in their last five games overall. With Tampa Bay’s streak set to end at some point, it might as well come when Bishop is on the bench.
