According to oddsmakers from online sports book RealBet.eu, the Wildcats are a 2-point road underdog versus the Gamecocks while the total is currently sitting at 146.5 points.
Kentucky enters play with an 18-6 record but is just 11-13 against the spread, while South Carolina is 21-3 overall and has been profitable for bettors all season while producing a 16-5 ATS record. The Gamecocks are also 8-2 against the spread at home this season.
The Wildcats have been outstanding at home but beatable on the road, with losses at UCLA, LSU, Auburn (as a double-digit favorite, no less), Kansas and most recently, Tennessee. Kentucky has covered the spread just twice in its last nine road games.
As for the Gamecocks, they’re 14-3 against the number in their last 17 home games, 4-1 ATS in their last five SEC games, and 20-7 ATS in their last 27 games overall. They’re also flying high after upsetting Texas A&M and taking down Ben Simmons and LSU in their last two games.
