According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Red Raiders are 3.5-point home underdogs versus the Sooners while the total has climbed from 147 up to 149.
Oklahoma enters play tonight with a 20-4 record but is just 10-12 against the spread, while Texas Tech is 15-9 on the year and 11-10 at the betting window.
The Red Raiders have won back-to-back games over ranked opponents in Iowa State and Baylor, racking up 85 and 84 points, respectively. Tech has a great strength of schedule but needs more quality wins to support its at-large case. A win tonight would go a long way in that regard and seeing as how the Red Raiders are 9-2 against the spread in their lat 11 games coming off a win, there’s some value in taking the points tonight.
