Harvey, Mets solid underdog bet
PITTSBURGH, PA (Lock Labs) – The Pirates host the Mets at 4:05PM ET today and with Matt Harvey on the hill, New York is a solid value bet as an underdog.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book GT Bets, the Mets are +100 money line underdogs versus the Pirates, who are -108 money line home favorites. The total, meanwhile, is sitting at 6.5 runs for today’s game.
The Mets are 6-2 in Harvey’s last eight starts and are 5-1 in his last six starts when their opponent allows two runs or less in their previous game. The Pirates, meanwhile, are 1-5 in their last six games as a favorite and 0-7 in their last seven games after allowing two runs or less in their previous game.
