Royals a value play in St. Louis?
ST. LOUIS, MO (Spread Winners) – With Lance Lynn being placed on the DL yesterday and Tyler Lyons starting today at Busch Stadium, the Royals are a value play for bettors at 4:10PM ET.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book GT Bets, the Cardinals are -131 moneyline favorites versus the Royals, who are +121 money line underdogs. With Lyons on the mound to face Jeremy Guthrie, the total sits at 7.5 runs.
The Cardinals are 1-6 in Lyon’s last seven starts and 2-8 in his last 10 starts as a favorite. The Royals, meanwhile, are 4-1 in their last five games overall and 6-1 in Guthrie’s last seven road starts.
