Bears vs. Packers Free Pick
The NFL will conclude its Thanksgiving action tonight at 8:30PM ET when the Bears and Packers renew one of the best rivalries in football.
The Odds
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Packers are 8-point home favorites over the Bears after the number opened at 8. The total, meanwhile, is currently sitting at 46.5 points after it opened at 47.5.
Streaks & Records
Chicago is just 4-6 straight up but the team has been profitable for bettors, covering in six of its 10 games and going 4-1 ATS over its last five games on the road. Green Bay just ended a three-game losing streak with a victory over Minnesota. It was also the first time the Packers have covered a spread in their last five games. They’re 7-3 on the year and 6-4 ATS, which includes a 3-2 ATS mark at home.
The Pick
The key for the Packers last Sunday in Minnesota was that they got their running game going. Eddie Lacy rushed for over 100 yards and provided balance for a Green Bay offense that had been too one-dimensional in its three-game losing streak. Now that they’re seemingly back on track, the Packers should roll tonight against a Bears team that has covered the spread three straight weeks but is due for a dud performance on defense. That said, Matt Forte and Alshon Jeffery are expected to play, so Chicago should also provide plenty of points to help the combined score go over the total as well.
