Mavs-Thunder to fall under total?
With four players resting tonight for Dallas, the total could provide value for under bettors when the Thunder and Mavericks tip off at 8:00PM ET.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Thunder is as 12.5-point favorite over the Mavericks after the number opened at 9.5. As for the total, the number has dropped from 211.5 down to 206.5.
The reason for the line movement is because Dallas will be without four players because of rest. The Mavs went to overtime last night with the Cavs so the team has decided to hold out Wesley Matthews, Dirk Nowitzki, Deron Williams and Chandler Parsons for tonight. Nowitzki leads the team in points per game at 17.7, while Williams is second at 14.2 and Matthews is third at 12.9. That’s a lot of offensive firepower that will be out of Dallas’ lineup tonight.
The under is 17-22 in all Maverick games this year and 15-23-1 in all Thunder games.
