Will the Bucks cover again on no rest?
The Bucks are coming off an embarrassing 113-95 loss to the Lakers on Tuesday night but they actually offer some value to bettors tonight against the Clippers.
Oddsmakers from online sports book RealBet.eu currently list Milwaukee as a 10.5-point road underdog versus Los Angeles for tonight’s 10:30PM ET tip-off. The Bucks are just 10-16 straight up and 12-14 against the spread, which includes a 5-8 ATS mark on the road.
But the Bucks have offered value to bettors all season long in one particular situation: Playing on back-to-back nights.
Milwaukee is 6-0 against the spread this season when playing on no rest. The last time they played on back-to-back nights, they pulled off the upset of the season by knocking off the previously unbeaten Warriors 108-95 as a 9-point underdog.
The Clippers haven’t been great as a home favorite this season. They’re 4-7-1 against the spread in those situations this year and just 4-9-1 ATS in their 14 home games overall. The spread for tonight’s game is a tad inflated after the Bucks lost to the Lakers on Tuesday night. Bettors that are willing to role the dice can gain value in taking Milwaukee.
