COLUMBIA, MO (The Spread) – The No. 18 ranked Missouri Tigers host the Indiana Hoosiers on Saturday at 4:00PM ET on the SEC network.  The Tigers are currently listed as 13 point favorites and with that, let’s take a look at the right play for bettors.

The Tigers are 3-0 on the season as the 1-1 Hoosiers come to town. This game is one of the strongest plays on Saturday’s lineup and bettors should be able to line their pockets with green.

The play here is to take the Hoosiers plus the points.  The Tigers are 2-1 ATS on the season, while Indiana is 0-2 ATS. The Hoosiers are due for a cover and what better way to get your season back on track then a strong showing versus an SEC opponent.  Indiana is 1-6 ATS in their last seven road games, while the Tigers have been covering machines going 14-3 ATS in their last 17 games overall.

ATS trends can sometimes be helpful, but that is not always the case.  The Hoosiers will be lacking no motivation here after dropping a tight game versus Bowling Green.  The Tigers have outscored their opponents by slightly over 24 points per game this season and it’s just off laying less than two touchdowns versus a team coming off a straight up loss listed as eight point favorites.

There’s also a revenge factor at play here as Missouri handed Indiana a 45-28 loss last September.  The Hoosiers have the talent to keep this game within the number as they have established a strong running game this season led by running back Tevin Coleman.  Coleman is leading the nation averaging 218 rushing yards per game.

The Hoosiers have dropped 18 straight versus opponents ranked in the top 25, but no one says they have to win all we are looking for is the cover.  It’s best to catch the Hoosiers at 14 or 14.5 if possible. Take the Hoosiers plus the points today.
