Reds vs. Dodgers Prediction
Will the Dodgers complete their sweep of the Reds on Sunday when they host Cincinnati once more at 4:10PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Dodgers are -175 money line favorites versus the Reds, who have odds of +145 to pull off the upset. With Tim Adleman set to face Hyun-Jin Ryu in the pitching matchup, the over/under currently sits at 9 runs, up from the original number of 8.5.

Adleman whiffed seven batters while tossing seven frames of one-run ball in Tuesday’s 13-1 blowout win over the Cardinals. Adleman served up a solo homer to Stephen Piscotty, but it was one of just three hits he allowed. He walked two. This is the third straight quality start for Adleman, who lowered his ERA to 4.42 and WHIP to a solid 1.19. (Rotoworld)
Ryu surrendered four runs in seven innings Monday in a loss to the Nationals. It seemed like Ryu wanted to show the Dodgers that he could work deep into games tonight, and he was able to do that, though he might have managed to cut a run or two off that total if he wasn’t attacking the plate quite so vigorously. He ended up allowing seven hits, walking none and striking out four tonight. 78 of his 102 pitches were strikes.
Bet Today’s Reds vs. Dodgers Game
OUR PREDICTION: There’s some course-correction going on right now with the Reds, who feasted on a struggling Cardinals team at home earlier this week. While Cincinnati came into the weekend on a bit of a tear, the Reds have run into an excellent L.A. club playing good ball. The Dodgers don’t have a decided edge in the pitching matchup, but Ryu has only walked three hitters in his past four starts spanning 22 1/3 innings. The Reds have been dangerous against left-handed pitchers this season, but most of that damage has come on the road. The Dodgers are expensive, but should cash.
