Making his first appearance since coming off the COVID-19 injured list, Keegan Akin pitched three scoreless innings out of the pen Tuesday against the Yankees. The rest of the Orioles’ pitchers combined to give up 13 runs in five innings tonight, which makes Akin’s performance look even better. With tonight’s starter, Alexander Wells, getting sent down, Akin could return to the rotation next time through.
