The Orioles won the last time both these men took the mound to face each other.
In the National League, the featured game has the Washington Nationals hosting the St. Louis Cardinals at 7:35PM ET (View Matchup) in Game 3 of their series. The series is tied 1-1 entering the contest. Washington has Edwin Jackson on the mound to face Chris Carpenter of the Cardinals. According to oddsmakers, each team has odds of -105 to win, while the over/under total has been set at 7.5 runs. Washington is 99-65 overall and 50-31 at home while St. Louis is 90-75 overall and 39-43 on the road. Carpenter hasn’t faced the Nationals this year while Jackson is 1-1 against the Cardinals.
