ALCS Game 2 Odds
(TheSpread) – The 2013 American League Championship Series moves to Game 2 on Sunday. Here is a look at the odds for the second game of the series.
Game 2 of the ALCS features the Boston Red Sox hosting the Detroit Tigers at 8PM ET (View Matchup). The Tigers are sending Max Scherzer to the mound to face Clay Buchholz of the Red Sox. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Tigers are the favorite on the road, as they have odds of -110 to win, while the Red Sox have a money line of +100 to prevail. The over/under total for the game has been set at 7.5 runs.
The Tigers were able to win Game 1 of the series in Boston thanks to a 1-0 victory. Detroit pitching held Boston without a hit for eight innings and recorded a total of 17 strikeouts in the nine innings. Boston pitching was pretty solid as well, allowing just the one run on nine hits. Jhonny Peralta was the hero for the Tigers, as he drove in the lone run and was 3-of-4 at the plate. The Tigers have now won four of their last six against the Red Sox and the two have hit the under in three of their last four meetings.
