2013 AL Cy Young Odds
(The Spread) – The odds to win the 2013 American League Cy Young award are out and a handful of players will be in the mix for the honor this season.

According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, David Price is an 11/2 favorite to win this year’s AL Cy Young award, while both Justin Verlander and Jered Weaver have the next best odds at 6/1, respectively. R.A. Dickey, Felix Hernandez and Yu Darvish are 10/1, respectively, to win this year.
Continuing with the odds, C.C. Sabathia is 12/1, C.J. Wilson is 15/1, and Josh Johnson is 18/1. Chris Sale, Jake Peavy, Max Scherzer, Matt Harrison and James Shields are all 20/1, respectively. A slew of pitchers have 33/1 odds to win the award: Jon Lester, Clay Buchholz, Matt Moore, Tommy Hanson, Brett Anderson, Derek Holland, Jim Johnson and Fernando Rodney.
The long shots to win the 2013 American League Cy Young award are Ryan Dempster, Joel Hanrahan, Mariano Rivera, Mark Buehrle, Ervin Santana, Joe Nathan and Jeremy Hellickson, who are all 50/1, respectively.
Price won the award in 2012 while Verlander took home the honors in 2011. Hernandez won in 2010, Zach Greinke in 2009, and Cliff Lee in 2007. Johan Santana won the Cy Young with the Twins in 2006, Bartolo Colon won in 2005 and Santana also won in 2004.
