MLB All-Star Game Odds
(TheSpread) – The 2013 MLB All-Star Game is set to take place on Tuesday night. Here is a look at the odds for tonight’s annual classic.
This year’s All-Star Game will take place from Citi Field in New York, home of the Mets. The game will be played under National League rules. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the National League enters the game as the favorite to win, as the NL has odds of -125 to win, while the American League has been given a money line of +115. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 8 runs. Max Scherzer is getting the start for the AL while Matt Harvey will start for the NL.
After failing to win the All-Star Game for 13 consecutive years, the National League has won the last three All-Star Games. Surprisingly, the run scoring has been an issue for the American League the last three years, totaling just two runs in the last three games. The two teams have failed to score more than eight runs in the last five All-Star Games.
