According to oddsmakers, the Cardinals are favored at home, as they have odds of -150 to win at home, while the Pirates have odds of +140 to prevail in Game 1. The over/under total for the game has been set at 6.5 runs. St. Louis went 97-65 during the season and was 54-27 at home. Pittsburgh went 94-68 during the season and was 44-37 on the road. St. Louis has won its last four against the Pirates and the home team has won six of the last seven between these two.
