NL Cy Young Award Odds
(The Spread) – The odds for the 2013 National League Cy Young Award are out and Stephen Strasburg is favored to win this year’s award.

Oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv have installed Strasburg as an 11/2 favorite to win this year’s NL Cy Young Award, while Clayton Kershaw has the next best odds at 6/1. Gio Gonzalez and Cole Hamels are 10/1, respectively, while Matt Cain and Cliff Lee are 12/1, respectively.
Continuing with the odds, Roy Halladay, Zack Greinke, Adam Wainwright and Johnny Cueto are 15/1 to win the NL Cy Young award, respectively, while Aroldis Chapman is 20/1. Ryan Vogelsong, Tim Lincecum, Ian Kennedy, Yovani Gallardo, Mat Latos, Tim Hudson, Jordan Zimmerman and Craig Kimbrel are all 25/1, respectively.
Some of the mid-range long shots include Madison Bumgarner, Jaime Garcia, Johan Santana, Lance Lynn, Jason Motte and Wade Miley at 33/1, respectively. The long shots to win this year’s NL Cy Young award are Edinson Volquez, Josh Beckett, Chad Billingsley, J.J. Putz, A.J. Burnett, Wandy Rodriguez, Rafael Soriano, Jonathan Papelbon, Ricky Nolasco and Jonathan Niese, who are all 50/1, respectively.
R.A. Dickey won the award last year with the Mets, while Kershaw won the NL Cy Young in 2011. Halladay won in 2010, Lincecum won the award in back-to-back seasons with the Giants in 2008 and 2009, while Jake Peavy won it with the Padres in 2007.
