2013 NL MVP Odds to Win
(The Spread) – Oddsmakers have released prop odds for the 2013 National League MVP, and Reds’ first baseman Joey Votto is currently favored to win.

According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, Votto is 15/2 to win the this year’s NL MVP award, while Ryan Braun of the Brewers has the next best odds at 9/1. Both Bryce Harper of the Nationals and Matt emp of the Dodgers are 10/1, respectively, while the defending NL MVP award-winner Buster Posey of the Giants is 12/1.
Continuing with the odds, Stephen Strasburg and Andrew McCutchen is 15/1, respectively, while Clayton Kershaw is 18/1. Justin Upton, Jason Heyward, Yadier Molina, Matt Holliday and Troy Tulowitzki are 20/1, respectively, while Giancarlo Stanton, David Wright, Ryan Zimmerman, Jay Bruce, Adrian Gonzalez, Aramis Ramirez and Chase Headley.
Meanwhile, B.J. Upton, Ryan Howard, Starlin Castro, Rickie Weeks, Allen Craig, Hanley Ramirez, Hunter Pence and Carlos Gonzalez all have the same odds at 33/1, respectively, while Michael Young is the current long shot at 50/1.
As previously mentioned, Posey won the award in 2012 and Braun took home the honor in 2011. Votto won in 2010, Albert Pujols won the award back-to-back in 2008 and 2009 when he was with the Cardinals, while Jimmy Rollins won the award in 2007.
