Game 3 of the NLCS features the Los Angeles Dodgers hosting the St. Louis Cardinals at 8PM ET (View Matchup) with the Cardinals holding a 2-0 lead in the series. The Cardinals are sending Adam Wainwright to the mound to face Hyun-Jin Ryu of the Dodgers. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Cardinals are favored on the road, as they have odds of -125 to win, while the Dodgers have a money line of +115 to prevail. The over/under total for the game has been set at 6.5 runs.
St. Louis took a 2-0 lead in the series with a 1-0 win in Game 2 on Saturday. The Cardinals got another huge outing from Michael Wacha on the mound. He went 6.2 innings, allowing just five hits with eight strikeouts, outdueling Clayton Kershaw of the Dodgers. The lone run came in the fifth on a John Jay sacrifice fly. The Dodgers had won two straight over St. Louis entering this series, but have posted just two runs over two games. These two have hit the under in five of their last six meetings.
