Updated World Series Odds
(TheSpread) – The 2013 MLB Playoffs are down to their final four. Here is an updated look at the odds to win the World Series.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Boston Red Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers are co-favored to win, as each has a money line of +200. The other odds to win are the Detroit Tigers (+275) and the St. Louis Cardinals (+350).
The Red Sox disposed of the Tampa Bay Rays in four games to advance to the ALCS. Boston will have the home-field advantage in this series against Detroit and is seeking its 13 AL Pennant.
The Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the second-seeded Atlanta Braves in four games to reach the NLCS, where it now takes on St. Louis. Los Angeles is seeking its first World Series appearance since 1988.
The Tigers got past the Oakland Athletics in five games and are appearing in their third straight ALCS. The Tigers are the defending American League champs and looking for a second consecutive World Series appearance.
The Cardinals defeated the pesky Pittsburgh Pirates in five games to reach the NLCS and will have the home-field advantage against the Dodgers in this round. St. Louis is looking to win its 19th NL Pennant.
