The 2014 World Series has the San Francisco Giants facing the Kansas City Royals. The Royals have home-field advantage for the series. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, this series is even, as each team has been given a money line of -105 to prevail.
San Francisco comes into this series at 96-76 overall, 47-39 on the road and 49-37 at home. Kansas City is 97-73 overall, 46-39 at home and 51-34 on the road. Kansas City is 8-0 in the playoffs while San Francisco is 8-2. These two did meet in August in Kansas City, with the Royals winning all three games by a combined score of 16-6. The Royals have won five straight meetings with the Giants dating back to 2008.
