According to oddsmakers from online sports book Mybookie.ag, the Royals are -140 money line favorites to win today’s game with Johnny Cueto set to take the hill. As for the Astros, they have odds of +120 behind starter Scott Kazmir and the total for today’s game is sitting at 7.5 runs.

The Royals have not had success behind Cueto, as they’re just 2-7 in his last nine starts overall. They’re also 1-4 in his last five starts coming off four days of rest and are now 1-6 in their last seven home games versus a team with a losing road record.

Houston hasn’t had much success behind Kazmir either, losing eight of its last 11 games with him on the mound. That said, the Astros are 5-1 in their last six games overall, 4-0 in their last four games versus a team with a winning record and 5-0 in their last five games versus a right-handed starter.
