Oakland A’s DFS SPIN
Mark Canha is undergoing an MRI on Friday after being diagnosed with a left hip strain. Canha left Thursday’s game against the Rangers with the injury, and it’s apparently something that has been bothering him for a while. The outfielder will undergo the imaging Friday, and his status going forward should be determined by the results of said scan.
San Francisco Giants DFS Spin
Giants general manager Farhan Zaidi told reporters Thursday that there’s a “good chance” that Brandon Belt ends up on the injured list because of his knee injury. The Giants are still waiting for the results of an MRI on Belt’s knee, and the results will likely help determine the next cause of action for San Francisco. Belt has dealt with a plethora of injuries in his career and in 2021, and this is the same knee that he had operated on not long ago. At this point, it’d be more surprising if Belt wasn’t placed on the 10-day IL on Friday than if he wasn’t.
A’s vs. Giants Betting Prediction
The A’s have won five of their last six games versus the Giants and are 4-0 in their last four games at Oracle Park. They’re also 7-1 in their last eight Interleague games, are 7-1 in their last eight games versus NL West opponents and have won five straight Interleague matchups as a favorite. Meanwhile, the Giants are 3-13 in their last 16 Interleague home games versus a team with a winning record and are 1-5 in their last six gaems as a home favorite.
