The Houston Astros are running away with the AL West division, so much so that oddsmakers are staying away from giving them odds.

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, there are currently no odds listed for the winner of the AL West. There is not even an option of the Astros vs. the field.

The Astros have the best record in the AL West and in the American League. Houston comes into the break at 60-29 on the season. They have a 16.5-game lead on the division. Houston has scored 527 runs this season, most of any team in MLB by 40 runs. They have allowed just 365 as well for a +162 run differential.

The Los Angeles Angels are tied for second in the AL West. They are 16.5 games back with a 45-47 record. The Angels have scored just 377 runs while allowing 399. They have been without Mike Trout for a big chunk of the season, which hasn’t helped their pursuit of the playoffs.

The Rangers are 43-45 on the season and also sit 16.5 games out of first. Texas is the only other team in the division with a positive run differential (+29), as they have scored 444 runs while giving up 415.

Seattle is 43-47 entering the break and 17.5 games out of first place in the division. Seattle has scored 431 runs in 2017 while allowing 435.

Oakland is last in the division at 39-50, 21 games behind the Astros right now. Oakland has scored just 382 runs while giving up 470.
