Los Angeles Angels DFS SPIN
Angels transferred OF Taylor Ward to the 60-day injured list. Ward is dealing with significant facial fractures after he was drilled in the face by a pitch from Alek Manoah in a horrifying moment on Saturday. If all goes well in his recovery though, he could return in time to help out the Angels in the postseason should they get there.
Atlanta Braves DFS SPIN
Matt Olson homered twice and drove in five runs to propel the Braves past the Brewers 8-6 on Sunday. The second homer broke a 6-6 tie in the eighth. Olson matched and overtook his 2022 total of 34 homers today in 59 fewer games. He’s the major league leader with 88 RBI in 103 games, and he’s sixth with 79 runs scored.

Angels vs. Braves MLB BETTING PREDICTION
Morton is 10-8 with a 3.57 ERA but has lost his past two starts after winning five in a row. He’s coming off his shortest outing of the season, lasting just 3 2/3 inning against the Red Sox on Tuesday. In that start, he surrendered four runs, six hits and five walks in a 7-1 loss. He is 4-1 with a 3.83 ERA in 10 career starts against the Angels, but if he’s in poor form, it might not matter. Canning, meanwhile, is 6-4 with a 4.46 ERA and has 20 strikeouts in his past two starts, which span 10 2/3 innings. He allowed just two runs in each outing, but didn’t receive a decision. Even though the Angels are depleted due to a slew of injuries, I’m still going to take the over. If they can get to Morton, then we know the Braves can slug.
