On the mound for the White Sox will be Carson Fulmer (2-1, 4.42 ERA), while the Indians are going with AL Cy Young candidate Corey Kluber (18-4, 2.27). Fulmer holds a 1.31 WHIP with 17 strikeouts in 18 1/3 innings. He allowed one earned run on four hits with five strikeouts and one walk in six innings during a 3-2 loss at the Tigers back on September 15. Kluber sports a 0.86 WHIP with 262 strikeouts over 198 2/3 innings. He allowed two unearned runs on six hits with 10 strikeouts and two walks over seven innings in a 4-2 win at the Mariners his last outing. Cleveland has won 12 of his last 13 starts including the last six.

Chicago enters at 66-94 and 27-52 on the road, while Cleveland is 101-59 and 48-31 at home. The Indians have won eight of the last 10 meetings and the over-under is 5-5 in those games.

On Friday night, Cleveland cruised to a 10-1 victory. Austin Jackson went 2-for-3 with two walks, two runs and an RBI. Jose Ramirez was 3-for-3 with his 55th double, a walk, two runs and two RBIs. Edwin Encarnacion was 1-for-3 with a double, a walk, a run and three RBIs. Jay Bruce was 1-for-3 with a two-run homer and two walks. Jason Kipnis finished 1-for-2 with a double, a walk and two runs. Trevor Bauer gave up one earned run over six innings and struck out seven to get the win. Yolmer Sanchez hit a solo home run for the White Sox, while Yoan Moncada was 2-for-4. Mike Pelfrey surrendered seven earned runs over 2 2/3 innings to take the loss.

Bet on White Sox vs. Indians

We love Kluber and the Indians on the runline. Maybe some players get rested here, but Cleveland has a good bench and there will be enough bats regardless to get to a mediocre to average pitcher in Fulmer. Meanwhile, Kluber has been lights out since the start of June and is going to be dialed in against against a lineup that struggles to hit a lot of right-handed pitching let alone the best.
