Houston Astros DFS SPIN
Kyler Tucker hit a pinch-hit two-run homer on Thursday to help the Astros a 3-2 win over the Rangers. Tucker was given the day off, but still found a way to make an impact. An impact is an understatement, his pinch-hit blast broke a 1-1 tie to give Houston a 3-1 lead and ultimately a victory. It’s been a slow start for the ever-so-talented outfielder, but it’s just a matter of time before his numbers are back to an elite level. Fantasy managers are well aware of just how good Tucker can be when everything is clicking.
Toronto Blue Jays DFS Spin
Blue Jays manager Charlie Montoyo said after the game on Thursday that he ‘expects’ Vladimir Guerrero Jr. to be in the lineup for the Blue Jays on Friday. After fouling a ball off his foot Wednesday, Guerrero Jr. was out of the lineup on Thursday against the Red Sox. It was a close game and Montoyo said he was available as a pinch hitter late in the contest. The 23-year-old first baseman was off to a torrid start to the season with an excellent .309/.380/.599 line.
