Houston Astros DFS SPIN
Alex Bregman homered twice, doubled twice, drove in six runs and stole a base as the Astros crushed the White Sox 21-5 on Thursday. Something that’s never been done before. Two other players this season (Trevor Story and Patrick Wisdom) have had two homers, six RBI and a steal in a game, but no one in major league history has added in the two doubles. Bregman has been one of the AL’s best players the last two months, hitting .318 with 12 homers, 18 doubles and 44 RBI in his last 54 games. The stolen base today, though, was his first of the season and just his second in three years.
Atlanta Braves DFS SPIN
Michael Harris II delivered a go-ahead RBI double on Thursday, propelling the Braves to a pivotal 3-2 victory over the Mets. Harris II chopped a full-count offering from Mets reliever Seth Lugo with two outs in the seventh inning into shallow center field, which provided enough time for fellow rookie sensation Vaughn Grissom to race around the bases, scoring the decisive run all the way from first base on the play. The dynamic 21-year-old rookie outfielder, who just signed a massive eight-year $72 million contract extension earlier this week, is hitting .288/.327/.500 with 47 runs scored, 12 home runs, 40 RBI and 14 stolen bases across 275 plate appearances. Unreal.
