Alex Bregman (quad, hamstring) was scratched from Triple-A Sugar Land’s lineup Monday. Bregman was initially in the lineup just one day after being removed from his rehab game with right hamstring tightness. However, the Astros have thought better of it and will let him rest. Bregman is coming back from a quad injury.
Los Angeles Dodgers DFS SPIN
Mookie Betts went 2-for-5 with a home run, two runs scored, and a walk against the Diamondbacks on Sunday. Betts started at second base for the Dodgers on Sunday in his return from the injured list after dealing with a sore hip. He showed no lingering effects at the plate, blasting a home run to lead off the ninth inning. The multi-hit effort gives the 28-year-old outfielder a .272/.376/.509 triple slash with 15 homers and seven stolen bases over 380 plate appearances. If starting at second base more often means a healthier Mookie Betts down the stretch, the Dodgers — and fantasy managers — will welcome the production and added eligibility.
Astros vs. Dodgers Betting Prediction
The under is 13-5-2 in the last 20 meetings between these two teams, is 25-12-3 in the Astros’ last 40 interleague road games and is 21-7-2 in their last 30 interleague road games versus a right-handed starter. On the other side, the under is 6-1 in the Dodgers’ last seven games following a win, is 4-1 in their last five games following an off day and is 3-1-1 in their last five games as a home favorite.
