Houston Astros DFS SPIN
Jose Altuve went 3-for-5 with a three-run homer on Sunday, propelling the Astros to a 9-4 victory over the Marlins. Altuve ostensibly put the contest away with a three-run shot to left field — his 12th round-tripper of the season — against Marlins’ righty reliever Louis Head in the eighth inning. The 32-year-old veteran second baseman has been excellent this season, slashing .279/.348/.536 with 28 runs scored, 12 homers, 23 RBI and three steals across 198 plate appearances.
Texas Rangers DFS SPIN
Eli White is undergoing X-rays on his injured right wrist after colliding with teammate Charlie Culberson in the outfield during Sunday’s game. It’s actually somewhat encouraging that they’re only checking out his wrist at the moment as he appeared to also bang his head during the scary collision. Look for the Rangers to provide an update on his status as soon as they get the results of that imaging.
