Houston Astros DFS SPIN
Jose Altuve had four hits, including his 11th and 12th homers, in the Astros’ 13-6 drubbing of the Rangers on Monday. Altuve has three four-hit games in the last month, and his average is sitting at .316 after 67 games. That doesn’t quite compare to his previous heights, but it’s a big improvement on his .278 mark from the last three seasons.
Texas Rangers DFS SPIN
Corey Seager went 3-for-5 with two homers Monday against the Astros. Seager just joined the batting-title qualifiers list over the weekend, and he’s now officially first in the AL with a .345 average and second with a 1.065 OPS, barely behind Shohei Ohtani at 1.066. With 28 homers in 94 games, he might top last year’s career high of 33 despite missing 40 games this season.

Astros vs. Rangers MLB BETTING PREDICTION
I took the over last night in this matchup and I’m going right back to the well. Eovaldi will be making his first start in seven weeks due to a right forearm strain, which means he’ll likely be on some sort of pitch count. That also means that Texas’ bullpen and its collective 5.75 ERA and 6.11 FIP over its last 11 games will see a lot of time tonight, which is excellent for over bettors. On the other side, Valdez is just 1-2 with a 4.68 ERA and 4.94 FIP over his last five starts, which span 32 2/3 innings. He’ll be backed by a Houston bullpen that owns a collective ERA of 5.20 and a FIP of 5.28, so the Astros haven’t been sharp on the backend, either.
