Fenway Park, Boston, MA
Houston Astros DFS Spin
Kyle Tucker went 2-for-5 with a two-run single on Sunday, propelling the Astros to a 6-3 win over the Blue Jays. Tucker blooped a two-run single into shallow left-center field off southpaw Steven Matz in the third inning, extending the Astros’ early lead to three runs in the process. The 24-year-old outfielder has been hot-and-cold throughout the 2021 campaign, but he’s on a bit of a heater at the plate recently, collecting five multi-hit efforts over his last six games.
Boston Red Sox DFS Spin
Christian Arroyo went 2-for-3 with a double, two RBI, two runs scored and a walk Monday as the Red Sox topped the Marlins 5-3. Arroyo was making his second straight start in the leadoff spot with Kiké Hernandez having been dropped in the lineup. He’s 7-for-16 with a homer and five RBI in five games this month, so expect him keep playing second base and hitting at the top of the order for now. It’s hard to say if he’s really a legitimate starter there, but he’s probably a better option that Marwin Gonzalez, at least.
Astros vs. Red Sox Betting Prediction
The under is 10-1 in the last 11 meetings between these two teams and is 5-1 in the Astros’ last six games overall. On the other side, the under is 7-2-1 in the Red Sox’ last 10 home games and is 8-2-1 in their last 11 games when playing opponents from the American League West.
MLB BETTING PREDICTION: ASTROS/RED SOX UNDER 9.5
