Houston Astros DFS SPIN
Jeremy Peña was electric on Sunday, going 5-for-6 with three RBI and three runs scored in a 17-4 win over the Tigers. Peña doubled off of Alex Faedo early in the game before adding a triple off of infielder Andrew Vasquez, who pitched in the eighth inning. The rest of his hits were all singles, but the shortstop is enjoying his best month of the season, hitting .333 with fifteen runs scored and seven RBI in 24 games. It’s been a bit of a step back for Peña in his second season, but the Astros hope he can end the season on a high note.
Boston Red Sox DFS SPIN
X-rays on the injured right wrist of Red Sox’ third baseman Rafael Devers came back negative for any fractures on Sunday. Fantasy managers can now breathe a sigh of relief. Devers was scratched from Sunday’s lineup after experiencing soreness in his wrist, so the club went ahead and had the imaging done as a precautionary measure. He’s still considered day-to-day and Red Sox skipper Alex Cora is hopeful that Devers will be able to play on Monday.
