Houston Astros DFS SPIN
Jeremy Peña went 0-for-5 and struck out four times against the Twins on Friday. Peña is a nice player and probably an above average starting shortstop, but it’s questionable whether the Astros are helping themselves by starting him in the leadoff spot with Jose Altuve out. It’s definitely not a good thing that Peña had five plate appearances and Kyle Tucker had only four in the 10-inning loss tonight.
Minnesota Twins DFS SPIN
Twins manager Rocco Baldelli told reporters after Friday’s game that Max Kepler’s (knee) availability for Saturday remains uncertain. Baldelli conceded that if Kepler is not able to go by then, that they may end up having to place him on the injured list rather than continuing to play shorthanded. Be sure to check back on Saturday morning, as the Twins should have a decision on his status by then.

Astros vs. Twins MLB BETTING PREDICTION
Even though the Astros have largely dominated previous meetings between these two teams, I’m backing the home team this afternoon. The Twins are 6-1 in their last seven games when facing a right-handed starter, are 4-1 in their last five games coming off a win and have won six of their last eight games dating back to last season. Minnesota has also been profitable at home, winning seven of its last 10 games at Target Field while posting an 11-4 record in its last 15 home games when facing an opponent with a losing record.
