Astros vs. White Sox MLB Prediction
The Astros took care of business in their series opener with the White Sox on Friday night but will they take down Lucas Giolito and Co. on Saturday night when these two teams meet for Game 2 at 7:15 p.m. ET?
Game Snapshot
973 Houston Astros (-112) at 974 Chicago White Sox (+103); o/u 8.5

Guaranteed Rate Field, Chicago, IL
Houston Astros DFS Notes
Yuli Gurriel went 3-for-4 while driving in a pair of runs in a rout of the White Sox. Gurriel also drew a walk. It was an outstanding first half of the campaign for the 37-year-old first baseman, and a four-reach day is a nice way to begin the final push. Many wondered if the infielder was done after a poor — and short — 2020 season. A .318 average, 10 homers and .862 OPS have shown that his demise was greatly exaggerated.
Chicago White Sox DFS Notes
Tim Anderson went 2-for-4 with a triple and a run scored on Friday in a loss to the Astros. Anderson got the White Sox off to a nice start with a triple to lead off the game, and he came around to score on Yoan Moncada’s double. That was it in terms of runs, and the Astros wouldn’t have another hit over the next eight innings. Anderson added that next hit in the ninth, and the two-hit day has the All-Star slashing .311/.347/.432. That’ll work.
Astros vs. White Sox MLB Betting Prediction
The Astros are now 5-2 in their last seven games in Chicago and are 17-5 in their last 22 games versus the White Sox overall. They’ve also won 16 of their last 21 road games, are 13-3 in their last 16 games as a road favorite and have won five straight on the road when facing a right-handed starter. On the other side, the White Sox are now 1-7 in their last eight games versus American League West opponents and have lost four of their last five games as a home dog.
