Aledmys Díaz went 1-for-4 on Friday in his return to the Astros’ lineup. Díaz hadn’t made an appearance since last Saturday due to relatively minor left shoulder discomfort. He’ll continue to serve as a versatile utility infielder for the Astros moving forward.
New York Yankees DFS SPIN
Yankees and OF Aaron Judge avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $19 million contract. It’s the midpoint of the figures the two sides exchanged back in March. He’ll have the opportunity to earn an additional $250,000 if he wins American League MVP and another $250,000 if he’s named World Series MVP. Judge, of course, is currently slated to hit free agency this offseason after turning down the Yankees’ $213.5 million contract extension offer before Opening Day.
