Houston Astros DFS SPIN
Jose Altuve sent 1-for-5 with a stolen base in a close 4-3 loss to the Yankees Thursday night. After grounding into a fielder’s choice in the fifth inning, Altuve quickly stole second base off Yankees starter Clarke Schmidt. It was Altuve’s eighth stolen base of the season and third theft since he returned from the injured list with an oblique injury in late July. The 33-year-old is hitting .277/.376/.486 with seven long balls and 20 RBI across 173 plate appearances.
New York Yankees DFS SPIN
Giancarlo Stanton went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer Thursday against the Astros. Stanton welcomed Astros starter Cristian Javier to New York with a 430-foot blast over the left-center field wall giving the Yankees a quick two-run lead in the first inning. It was the second homer in as many days for the veteran slugger. Stanton is hitting .204/.276/.458, and the Yankees are going to need more nights like this if they are to get into the playoffs.

Astros vs. Yankees MLB BETTING PREDICTION
Brown is 7-7 on the year with a 4.12 ERA and leads the American League rookies in innings at 111 1/3 and strikeouts with a 126. That said, he went 1-3 with a 5.92 ERA in five July outings and before getting the win on Saturday when he allowed two runs on four hits in six innings against the Rays. As for Severino, he’s been a disaster. He’s 2-5 with a 7.49 ERA and will attempt to rebound from another rough outing. He last pitched on Sunday in Baltimore where he allowed seven of his nine runs in the opening inning. Given Severino’s struggles, I like the ‘Stros tonight.
