Houston Astros DFS SPIN
Making his first start in his return to the Astros, Justin Verlander took a tough loss to the Yankees after allowing two runs in seven innings on Saturday. This was not Verlander at his best — even the peak 2023 version — but he held it together nicely while being able to generate just five misses on the Yankees’ 41 swings. It’s the eighth straight start in which he’s allowed three runs or fewer. Still, with the Astros mustering just one run today, Verlander dropped to 6-6 with a 3.11 ERA
New York Yankees DFS SPIN
Gleyber Torres went 2-for-3 with a homer and a walk Saturday as the Yankees topped the Astros 3-1. After leading off a fair amount last month, Torres has hit third in his five games this month and gone 9-for-18 with three extra-base base hits and a steal in five games. He’s been awfully steady these last few months, with his OPS rarely deviating much from the .750 range. It’s not great, but he was the Yankees’ most reliable hitter while Aaron Judge was out.

Astros vs. Yankees MLB BETTING PREDICTION
Urquidy is 2-2 on the year with a 5.20 ERA and will make his return today after missing 84 games because of right shoulder discomfort. This will be his first start since April 30 when he allowed two runs against the Phillies. As for Rodon, he’s 1-4 with a 6.29 ERA and is off to a rough start to his Yankees’ career. He is, however, 2-0 with a 1.55 ERA in seven career starts against the Astros, who are batting .213 in those outings and have never scored more than three runs against him. Give me the Yankees.
