Bet Tonight’s Orioles vs. Rangers Game
Mark Trumbo has been fantastic for Baltimore to start the season. He hit his third home run of the year in a loss to the Rangers on Thursday, taking Cole Hamels out to right in the fourth inning to give the O’s a short-lived lead. It was his only hit in four at bats but he remains hot, batting .389 with three dingers, six RBI and seven runs scored in nine games.
Speaking of hot at the plate, Nomar Mazara had two more hits on Thursday as he finished 2-for-4 with an RBI single and a run scored in the Rangers’ 6-3 victory over the O’s. Mazara had an RBI single in the third inning and scored a run in the team’s five-run sixth. He now has eight hits in his first 20 major league at bats as the 20-year-old outfielder continues to make the game look easy despite his inexperience.
