According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Blue Jays are -114 money line favorites versus the Brewers, who have odds of +104 to pull off the upset at home. With Marcus Stroman set to face Matt Garza in the pitching matchup, the over/under currently sits at 8.5 runs.

Latest on Stroman via Rotoworld: Stroman pitched 5 2/3 scoreless innings and hit a home run as a batter in Thursday’s win over the Braves. Playing with National League rules in Atlanta, the 26-year-old showed opposite field power (!) with a solo homer in the fourth inning. That just added to what was already a good night, as Stroman scattered seven hits and a walk, striking out six, against a Freddie Freeman-less Braves lineup. Stroman has now won three straight decisions to move to 4-2 with a 3.00 ERA and 1.39 WHIP through nine starts.
Garza pitched six innings of one-run ball in the Brewers’ 3-1 defeat of the Padres on Wednesday. This makes four straight quality starts for Garza since he struggled in his first start back from the DL last month. Still, it should be noted that those quality starts have come against the Braves, Pirates, Mets and Padres, not exactly the titans of the National League.
Bet Today’s Blue Jays vs. Brewers Game
OUR PREDICTION: The under has cashed in four of the last five meetings between these two teams, including in last night’s 4-3 win for Toronto. The under is also 4-1 in Stroman’s last five starts coming off five days of rest and is 8-2 in his last 10 outings versus a team with a winning record. On the other side, the under is a perfect 7-0 in the Brewers’ last seven interleague games versus an opponent with a losing record.
WEDNESDAY MLB PREDICTION: BLUE JAYS/BREWERS UNDER 8.5
